Help with your senior phone
Find help choosing and setting up your phone. Take your time and practise with someone you trust if needed.
Start with the controls
A flip phone covers the keypad when closed. A phone without a flip cover keeps the screen and buttons directly visible. Compare both and choose what feels comfortable in your hand.
Get started in three steps
- Check your SIM card. Check the required size in the manual and ask your provider about calls on the supported network.
- Charge the phone. Follow the manual and choose a regular place for the charger.
- Save important numbers. Practise calling and answering. If the phone has an SOS function, set it up with your contacts and test it together.
A question about your order
Email info@senior-phone.com with your order number if available. For phone advice, include the model, country and provider.
Here to help
Your questions, clearly explained.
What is a senior phone
A senior phone focuses on calls and easy controls. Many models have large buttons and clear screens. Features vary by model.
Should I choose a flip or a straight phone
You close a flip phone after use. A straight phone keeps the buttons visible. Your hands and daily use determine which feels easier.
Can I use my current SIM
This depends on your SIM size, phone and provider. Include your country and provider when asking us for help.
How does the SOS function work
If your phone has an SOS function, follow the manual to set up contacts. Agree with them how to respond and test it together. An SOS function does not replace emergency services.
Can I help my parents choose
Yes. Discuss which shape and buttons they prefer. Tell us how they use their phone and we will help you choose.
